Notebook Demo

This demo shows the current file reading and writing capabilities of the JPAL library, allowing you to open files already in the directory to edit or to create entirely new ones. The entirety of the extra code written for this demo went into the user-interface, while JPAL handles all of the reading/writing stuff. The demo also uses Widget, a library of simple extensions to PBwiki easy enough for any user.

Launch the Demo

Install one in your wiki

You can have your own version of the Notebook application in your wiki, as long as your wiki is API-enabled. To do so, you'll need to first ask PBwiki to have your API enabled. Then, copy the code from here into a page of your wiki. Then, as long as you're logged-in to your wiki, you'll be able to edit text-based files without have to download and re-upload.
